• Presented at the book Workshop titled ‘Europe’s Defence Industry in Transition: Legal, Economic and Policy Challenges in a Changing Union' at DG Defis in Brussels (January). During the session, my colleague Nathan Meershoek and I presented our chapter outline on the function of EU defence financing and its potential to strengthen the European defence industry beyond individual Member State spending.

• Invited as speaker at the 29th annual Conference of the Ius Commune Research School in Amsterdam (November). I presented my preliminary research on strengthening EU strategic autonomy through collaborative defence procurement under the European Defence Industry Programme (EDIP).
