Tatevik Manucharyan is Assistant Professor in European Law at the Department of International and European Law at the Utrecht University School of Law.
Tatevik specializes in the Law of the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU). Her research focuses on the evolution of socio-economic governance in the EU and the interaction between hard and soft law in this context. She is also interested in issues of enforcement and compliance in the EMU. The protection of social rights in the EMU/EU is another core research area for Tatevik.
Previously, Tatevik worked as a researcher in European Law at the University of Amsterdam (2015-2020) and as a lecturer at the University of Groningen (2020-2021). She was a visiting researcher at the European University Institute in 2017.
Tatevik will defend her Ph.D. in European Law at the University of Amsterdam. She holds an LL.M. in European Law from Utrecht University and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
