Tobias Lenz studied mathematics (BSc 2015, MSc 2017) and computer science (BSc 2015) at the University of Bonn. He was a PhD student at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics and the University of Bonn, where he obtained his doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) in 2021 under the supervision of Stefan Schwede. After staying in Bonn for one year as a postdoc, he came to Utrecht in October 2022, where his supervisor is Ieke Moerdijk.

Tobias’ research interests lie in algebraic topology, with a specific focus on equivariant homotopy theory.
