Siddhi Gupta is a designer and educator with a decade of experience leading projects in equity design and digital storytelling with global stakeholders. As Design Director at the Inclusive AI Lab, she has led teams on the ground for diverse projects including for IDRC to build a digital rights campaign for women gig workers, for Adobe in co-designing representative datasets for their creative AI tools, and conducted family ethnographies for a UN related project on ‘Edtech from Below.’ Her work has been published in several outlets including for Amsterdam University Press, Teacher Plus Magazine, AD Magazine, and top ranking journals such as Learning, Media and Technology. She has been invited to give talks at venues such as the FPCI Global Town Hall, UN Istanbul Innovation Days, Digital Humanism Conference in Vienna, UN Women’s Forum on Gender, Digitalization, and Women’s Economic Empowerment in Seoul, EMOOCS Conference, IAMCR, ICA, the Decolonising Data Summit and ACM CSCW. She has designed and led workshops on Data CARE, feminist futures of work at IIHS, Agami and others. Siddhi is currently pursuing her PhD at Utrecht University and teaches Creative Education at Srishti Manipal Institute, Bangalore, and has previously taught at the Royal College of Art and University of Creative Arts in the UK. She has been nominated as a Games for Peace UNESCO MGIEP fellow and comes with a Masters degree in Visual Communication from Royal College of Art, London.
