Remi Elzinga is Junior Assistant Professor and PhD candidate at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, Faculty of Geosciences, Utrecht University. His research interests lie in understanding the underlying processes that trigger or hamper the success or failure of sustainable innovations and transitions. Most of his research attention is spend on the transition to a circular economy in sectors such as renewable energy technologies, circular textiles, bioplastics, EV batteries and ICT.
