Current projects:
Dutch Grand Tour: research on the Grand Tours by Dutch travellers in the second half of the 18th Century. She is engaged writing a monograph on the unpublished manuscript of the six-volume travel diary of Johan Meerman (1753-1815) located in the Royal Library of The Hague, The Netherlands.
Michelangelo and the late religious works of the 1540s: continuation of research on religious subjects of Michelangelo for Vittoria Colonna and her “spirituali” friends in the early 16th Century. The research involves material inquiry on paintings on the subjects of Crucifixion and Pietà.
Michelangelo’s Tomb of Pope Julius II: she updates a general bibliography of the Tomb of Julius II (1505-1544) by Michelangelo Buonarroti for the Research Group “Cinquecento plurale’.
Leonardo da Vinci’s visit to Rome between 1513 and 1516: Influence and Heredity. The research places itself in the celebration of the 500th Leonardo da Vinci death year and the exhibition Leonardo a Roma: Influences and Legacy (Rome, Villa Farnesina, 3rd October 2019-12th January 2020).
