Mihaela has an MSc in Operations Research from University of Amsterdam and a PhD in Stochastic Operations Research, Department of Applied Mathematics, University of Twente. From 2016-2022 she was Assistant Professor at Aerospace Engineering Faculty, TU Delft. She is currently Assistant Professor, Faculty of Science, Utrecht University.
Mihaela has been part of several research projects such as NWO-KIC JustNexus (2024-2028), HO2020- SESAR AEON, HO2020-SESAR ADAPT, HO2020 ReMAP, EFRO Airport Technology Lab.
