Laura Piscicelli is Assistant Professor in the Innovation Studies group at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, Utrecht University, the Netherlands. Her research specializes in sustainable business and innovation, with a focus on the circular economy, digitalisation and consumer behaviour. Dr Piscicelli’s work spans multiple industries, including healthcare and construction, where she collaborates with academic and industry partners to address the challenge of integrating sustainable practices into mainstream business models. Her research seeks to bridge the gap between research and practical application, providing businesses with the tools to innovate while achieving sustainability goals. Dr Piscicelli holds a master’s degree in product-service system design from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, and a PhD in sustainable consumption and design from Nottingham Trent University.
