I am conducting an experiment to minimize email. Instead, I aim to talk with people and to make space for deep concentration. Working title: "If you email, you get a reply. If you talk, you get a conversation". In addition, I want to be able to concentrate deeply. See my article where I show why deep concentration crucial. To achieve this, I have developed the following guidelines:
Students: Please ask your questions during the regular classes. Do not email your questions.
Review requests: I review for journals where I am on the editorial board or where I submit manuscripts. I cannot review for other journals or publishers.
PhD supervision: I already supervise various PhD-students. I cannot accept other PhD-students at the moment.
Articles & books: You do not have to email me about articles. All my articles are open access. They can be accessed via Google Scholar, Researchgate, or Narcis. Books can be purchased via the normal routes.
Media: If you want an interview, please contact our office via email or call +31 30 253 81 01.
During most weeks, I will check my email on Mondays and Thursdays. I will not respond to all messages. If the message is urgent, please contact our office or call +31 30 253 81 01.
Best,
Lars
