Laura F. Lalikova graduated with LL.B. in International Civil Law at National University of Ireland, Galway, and has completed her LL.M in European Law at Utrecht University with her thesis on "Effectiveness of Private Enforcement of European Competition Law in Case of Passing-on of Overcharges".

Prior to joining Utrecht University, she worked at the European Court of Auditors in Luxembourg, where she also researched other areas of her interest such as EU agencies, EU administrative law, EU economic and fiscal policy coordination.
