Lauren Beehler is a PhD candidate in Educational Sciences. Lauren completed her Masters degree in Human Computer Interaction at Utrecht University and her Bachelors degree in Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington in Seattle, USA. 

The focus of her PhD research centers around the application of a gaze metric gathered from eye tracking students while they watch educational videos. This multimodal learning analytic will be used in a dashboard that helps teachers learn more about students' learning and attention, allowing teachers to adapt their future lessons and teaching strategies to the needs of their class.
