With my transdisciplinary research and work I aim to contribute to bridge ecological science and the building industry. 

My role as project lead CSRD at the Sustainability Office entails aligning UU's sustainability reporting to the current European standards.

I am tightly connected with Real Estate & Campus at Utrecht University to collaborate on effectively weaving ecosystem services and sustainability into organizational practice.

In order to advance the value-creation and quantification of ecosystem services in buildings, I conduct practice oriented ecological research. 

Efforts are taken to communicate scientific findings and developments on ecosystem services to building developers and architects by means of workshops and the creation of an inspirational digital tool called EcoBUILD (https://utrechtuniversity.github.io/ecobuild/).
