With my interdisciplinary research approach I aim to contribute to bridge ecological science and the building industry. 

I am tightly collaborating with Real Estate & Campus at Utrecht University with the goal to effectively weave ecosystem services into the team's working processes.

In order to advance the value-creation and quantification of ecosystem services in buildings, I conduct practice oriented ecological research. 

Efforts are taken to communicate scientific findings and developments on ecosystem services to building developers and architects by means of workshops and the creation of an inspirational digital tool.
