Medical doctor and epidemiologist with experience in clinical, occupational, and environmental epidemiology. 

My PhD project is funded by Lexces (national expertise centre for substance-related occupational diseases), where I contribute to designing a health surveillance program for silicosis in high-risk worker populations in the Netherlands, and research on methods applied for workers' compensation eligibility for multi-causal occupational diseases such as lung cancer (see TSB regulation for the policy and societal impact of our research).  

I am an open science advocate and promoter.
