Profiel

Ik werk sinds 2004 aan de Universiteit Utrecht. In 2008 ben ik gepromoveerd op het proefschrift "Using visualizations to support collaboration and coordination during computer-supported collaborative learning". Momenteel werk ik als Universitair Hoofddocent bij de afdeling Educatie van de Faculteit Sociale Wetenschappen en geef ik onderwijs in de bachelor Onderwijskunde, de master Onderwijswetenschappen, de research master Educational Sciences, de Academische Lerarenopleiding Primair Onderwijs en de universitaire lerarenopleiding. Ik doe daarnaast onderwijsonderzoek, waarbij ik geïnteresseerd ben in collaborative learning en learning with multimedia and ICT.

My research focuses on studying interaction and interdependence in learning situations. Research topics include: cooperative learning, (computer-supported) collaborative learning, peer assessment and scaffolding. In my research I use different methodologies to study interdependence and interaction. These include: quantitative content analysis, multi-level analysis, social relations models, and actor-partner interdependence models.
