I’m an event and relationship manager at Utrecht University and a member of the core team of the strategic theme Pathways to Sustainability. We plan events for the purpose of science outreach and to enchance collaboration, such as meetups, sustainability dialogues and the yearly Pathways to Sustainability Conference. The goals of such events include public engagement and stimulating interdisciplinarity between the scientific community and pulic and private stakeholders.

My expertise lies within event planning and project management. I enjoy connecting people and bringing together all communications between parties involved, with regard to external and internal partnerships. My strength lies in connecting and accommodating to the needs of different groups of people, such as scientists, administrators, volunteers, speakers, attendees and suppliers. 

In 2008 I joined the UU, as an event organizer, within Protocol Affairs. Being responsible for organizing corporate events, such as the start of the Academic Year, Dies Natalis but also public events within the city with UU as a partner involved.
