EcoViolence is an ERC project that investigates how realist, documentary, and historical works – across poetry, novels, film, theatre, visual art, and museums – represent ecological violence and its entanglements with histories of colonialism and genocide. Our aim is to explore how cultural memory practices illuminate responsibility in the face of intertwined human and more-than-human forms of violence.
