My work strives to advance the contextual perspective on entrepreneurship for sustainability. I build upon upsurge for local solutions for global problems. Current research projects examine (1) Influences of activism facilitate implementation of sustainable practices in entrepreneurship, (2) roles of embeddedness, dis-embeddedness and re-embeddedness in shaping entrepreneurial strategic approaches, (3) mechanisms employed by entrepreneurs to achieve symbiosis rather than exploitation, (4) and the role of placeness in innovations for entrepreneurship, I leverage qualitative-based approaches as well as network analysis.
