I am a historian of the humanities and sciences. My research is on the emergence and development of academic disciplines and (inter)disciplinarity in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. I am especially interested in the role of academic conferences in disciplinary dynamics.
I am an instructor and a tutor at University College Utrecht. I teach history and philosophy of science, academic skills, and physics.
