Fan Yang's research focuses on various facets of dependence logic and team semantics, exploring their theory and applications. She obtained her PhD degree from University of Helsinki. Prior to joining the Theoretical Philosophy group in Utrecht, she was an Academy Research Fellow (2020-2022) and postdoc researcher (2017-2020) at University of Helsinki, and a postdoc at TU Delft (2015-2017) and at Utrecht University (2014-2015) as well.
