I'm a PhD candidate at the Quantitative Biodiversity Dynamics (QBD) research group. I have a background in (applied) mathematics, which I studied here at Utrecht University. My main interest lies in the study of complex systems and applying mathematical theories and/or models to solve problems in interdisciplinary research areas. At QBD, I will be working on dynamic extensions of Maximum Entropy Formalism models to expand the current knowledge on biodiversity patterns in ecosystems.
