I am a postdoctoral researcher in Earth Sciences at Utrecht University, working on induced seismicity and computational geophysics. My research focuses on understanding the chemo-mechanical processes in rock deformation, pattern formation in geology, and developing phase-field models for fracture and flow in geological materials.

I am currently involved in the LabQuakeAI project (NWO DeepNL programme), which uses artificial intelligence to predict laboratory earthquakes from acoustic emission data. Previously, I completed my PhD at The University of Hong Kong on reaction-diffusion models for geological patterns.
