I am a PhD candidate at the Institute for Cultural Inquiry of Utrecht University. My research explores how colonial legacies are negotiated in heritage spaces in the pursuit of justice. 

My interests include cultural heritage, colonial legacies, decoloniality, inequality, and justice. 

I initiated and co-coordinate the Latin America and the Caribbean research chapter of the Association of Critical Heritage Studies (ACHS).

I am a lecturer at the Department of Arts and Culture of Erasmus University Rotterdam.
