Bobby is a PhD candidate at the department of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences (ERCOMER) and the department of Developmental Psychology. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on multicultural strengths and social networks among migrant youth. Her main research interests include relational dynamics, cultural psychology, diversity and inclusion, and acculturation.

Bobby received both her master’s degree in Cultural Psychology and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. She previously conducted cross-cultural research at Korea University (Seoul, South Korea) and the Kyoto University Institute for the Future of Human Society (Kyoto, Japan).
