Alessandro Agnesi is a postdoctoral researcher at Utrecht University, where he contributes to the Nature-3B project, which aims to develop tools and scenario analyses that integrate nature-related risks into financial decision-making.
His research focuses on macroeconomics, macrofinance, and economic inequality, with a particular interest in agent-based and stock-flow consistent modelling.
During his PhD, Alessandro explored the interplay between inflation and inequality dynamics and investigated how distributional dynamics can be better understood through the lens of complexity-based modelling approaches. He also completed a visiting research period at SOAS University of London.
His work has been presented at several conferences, and he has both organized and participated in summer schools and collaborative workshops.
