Mieke Lumens

Dr. Mieke Lumens is the Programme Coordinator of the MSc programme Toxicology and Enviornmental Health. She studied Environmental Sciences at Wageningen University. After graduating she worked at the University of Amsterdam and Wageningen University as PhD student and junior scientist. Since 2001 she is working as assistant professor with the Institute of Risk Assessment Sciences (IRAS) of Utrecht University. The research interests focus on occupation hygiene, the science focusing on the relation between working conditions and workers’ health. Over recent years her main focus on education, ranging from bachelor to post graduate studies.
