Structure of the programme
The two-year SEC programme is taught in English and includes taught courses, professional traineeships, and research, awarding a total of 120 credits (EC) in the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Apart from the core courses (which are the same for all students) and electives, your programme will include the courses which belong to your particular track.
You can choose between two different tracks:
- Teacher Degree (in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science)
- Research and Development in Science Education and Communication
September or February start
Your study programme will have a different structure depending on whether you start your Master's in the first or second semester of the academic year.
You can opt to enroll in:
- September (application deadline: June 1), or
- February* (application deadline: October 15).
