After admission

Students are required to participate in matching activities organised by the Graduate School of Teaching. With this, our university wants to stimulate an ambitious study climate, increase the bond with the programme and prevent dropout due to an inappropriate study choice. During the matching, the mutual expectations of you and the programme coordinators, and the intensity of the program are discussed. Matching is not the same as selection: you decide whether you and this programme are a good match.

Practical matters

Once you have been (conditionally) admitted to a Master's programme at Utrecht University, there are a number of practical matters to be seen to, such as paying your tuition fees and receiving your university email address and your student card.

Please note that after summer, you begin a week before the start of the schools in secondary education, if you have chosen to do the track Teacher Degree.

International students will receive information from the Admissions Office on how to arrange the necessary practical matters (e.g., housing, a Dutch bank account, health care insurance, visa etc.).

Payment of your tuition fees

Dutch students can find more information here: Payment of the tuition fees (in Dutch). International students will receive information from the Admissions Office.
