The programme aims to facilitate the connection between the student and the job market, in particular through:
- Visiting relevant (domestic) institutions, such as the ICTY, ICTR, ICC and Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Thanks to these contacts and the reputation of Utrecht University, students are regularly placed in highly sought-after internships in these organisations, particularly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Inviting alumni for various activities, including informative presentations about their current employer and working environment, and/or social and networking events, like the annual career event.
- Arranging internships.
Utrecht Centre for Global Challenges (UGlobe)
The LLM in Public International Law is one of the UGlobe Master's programmes. The Utrecht Centre for Global Challenges (UGlobe) is a multi-disciplinary platform within Utrecht University for research, education and valorisation that is centred around the theme of a contested global order. We support our students with job search strategies by organising workshops, skills trainings and master classes with experts and practitioners in the field, often our own alumni. These activities will be organised under the Global Studies programme. Please have a look at the agenda for the latest events or join us at Facebook.
