The programme aims to facilitate the connection between the student and the job market, in particular through:
- Visiting relevant (domestic) institutions, such as the ICTY, ICTR, ICC and Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Thanks to these contacts and the reputation of Utrecht University, students are regularly placed in highly sought-after internships in these organisations, particularly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Inviting alumni for various activities, including informative presentations about their current employer and working environment, and/or social and networking events, like the annual career event.
- Arranging internships.
Utrecht University Centre for Global Challenges
The Utrecht University Centre for Global Challenges promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and experimentation between Utrecht University researchers, its students, and societal stakeholders from across the globe. Our aim is to critically understand and confront in transformative ways those global challenges that intersect human rights, conflict & security, sustainability, and equity. The Education programme of the Centre organises events, like lectures, masterclasses, simulations and a summerschool, all of which aim to bring students working on international issues together. Please have a look at the agenda for the latest events or join us at Facebook.
