Procedures for refugees
At our open days you get more information about our study programs and you get in toch with our teachers and students. There are separate open days for Bachelor programs and Master programs.
Do you follow the UU-track at Boswell-Bèta, do you follow courses at InclUUsion or are you interested in studying at Utrecht University? The following sessions allow you to get more information:
- An information session in preparation for visiting an open day.
- An information session about the selection procedure for studies with limited enrolment: what does it mean, what are the rules and how does it work?
- Participate in several activities organized by student associations in Utrecht.
- Specific dates of these sessions and activities are communicated through for example Boswell-Bèta and InclUUsion.
Utrecht University does not have specific scholarships for refugee students. If you want to study at UU, we expect you to have sufficient resources to pay for your tuition fees, your rent and your living costs. You might be eligible for support from UAF. Have you incurred a delay in your degree due to unforeseen circumstances? You may qualify for some form of compensation, depending on the situation.
For questions, you can make an appointment with a student counsellor by contacting Student services. The Student counsellor can help you with study-related matters at Utrecht University. Questions and information on asylum procedures or family reunification can not be answered.
