Pre-Master's programme LLM track for students with HBO-rechten
Students who completed the Schakelzone Recht:
Since 1 September 2016 no new applicants are accepted in the Schakelzone Recht for the LLM programmes of Utrecht University. After finishing a bachelor’s degree in applied sciences in Dutch law (hbo-rechten) students could enter the Schakelzone Recht of the Open Universiteit until 1 September 2016. The Schakelzone Recht is fully taught in Dutch and concerns mainly Dutch law. Additional requirements may be required for Civiel Effect. Beside the completion of the Schakelzone Recht programme, you have to meet the entrance requirements of your master's programme. Students that have started with the Schakelzone Recht for Utrecht University before 1 September 2016 will be eligible for admission to the master's programmes in the future after completion of the specific programme of Schakelzone Recht. There is currently no alternative premaster programme available for students with a bachelor’s degree in applied sciences in Dutch law. When you have completed the Schakelzone Recht you meet the entrance requirements of these programmes:
- European Law;
- Law and Economics;
- Dutch law: Privaatrecht (solid prior knowledge of insolvency law is an additional entry requirement);
- Dutch law: Staats- en bestuursrecht;
- Dutch law: Strafrecht;
- Onderneming en recht (solid prior knowledge of insolvency law is an additional entry requirement);
- Public International Law.
