Monday 28 January 2019 we organised a live webinar about our Master’s programme European Governance. Due to IT-problems our participants could not see the presenters, so we organised a new webinar on 8 February 2019.

Dr Femke van Esch

About our hosts:

Dr Femke van Esch works as an Associate Professor of European Integration at the Utrecht University School of Governance (USG). She holds an expertise in European economic and monetary policy-making, EU leadership, and the method of comparative cognitive mapping (CCM). Over the years, she has taught numerous courses in European governance, international relations, political science, and qualitative research and has won the USG Best Young Teacher’s Award twice. In addition to her academic work, Femke is a member of the Commission European Integration of the Advisory Council of International Affairs which advises the Dutch Ministers of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs, and the Minister of Defense.

Dr Jasper Sluijs

Dr Jasper Sluijs is assistant professor within the chair group of Public International Law at Utrecht University School of Law. His expertise includes competition law and regulation of public interest markets, such as health care, telecoms, media en tech. He is also interested in experimental legal research and teaching methods in legal education. Besides his research and teaching, dr. Sluijs is co-director of the European Governance Graduate programme.
