Once you have been (conditionally) admitted to Applied Data Science at Utrecht University, there are a number of practical matters to be considered, such as:

Practical matters

International students will receive information from the Admissions Office on how to arrange the necessary practical matters (e.g., housing, a Dutch bank account, health care insurance, visa etc.).

Student ID card

All students at Utrecht University receive a digital student card. The student card is visible in the MyUU app as soon as you've successfully enrolled and paid your tuition fees. You can download the app in the Apple App Store or the Android Google Play Store.

Master's introduction and orientation programme

You will start your Master’s with a mandatory introduction course Introducting Life Sciences (ILS) in the first week of the academic year. The course will cover all aspects of academic education, including science integrity, career development, and valorisation & industry. The ILS takes place in September 2018. You will receive an invitation in the summer.
International students will also receive an invitation for the UU Orientation Day which takes place in September 2018. Part of this programme consists of support and advice regarding practical matters, such as your registration with the city.
