Donate a bench in the Botanic Gardens
Looking for a unique, sustainable, personalised gift? Then consider donating a bench in our Botanical Gardens. For example, on the occasion of a birth, anniversary, marriage or retirement. Or in memory of a dear departed person. With the € 5,000 contribution, you not only donate the bench itself, but also contribute to projects concerning nature education and biodiversity in the Gardens. And of course, to thank you for your gift, we will attach a plaque to the donated bench.
With a bench, you create a personal and tangible place in our Gardens, in memory of a loved one or as a reminder of a special event.
You donate more than just a bench
So with the €5,000 donation, you donate much more than just the bench itself. The costs for the bench and maintenance amount to about a quarter of the donation. The remaining amount will benefit the Fonds Vrienden Botanische Tuinen (Friends of the Botanic Gardens Fund). This fund enables projects in the Gardens on nature education, biodiversity, science education and culture.
