Library card

With a library card, you can borrow materials from Utrecht University Library.

Library card for UU staff and students

Students and staff will find their library card in the MyUU app. The card is free of charge and valid for as long as you work or study at Utrecht University.

Library card for guests

Guests can also apply for a free library card. Before applying for a library card, you will need a guest account. Activate your account at the service desk of the library. Bring valid ID. 

Renewing the guest library card  

The library card for guests is valid for one year. You can renew your library card at the service desk. Please bring a valid ID. Before renewing your library card, you must first renew your guest Solis ID.
