Compass+: Systematically searching for literature
The online training course Compass+: Systematically searching for literature shows you step by step what is involved in setting up and executing a systematic database search.
When searching for literature, for instance as part of a systematic review or meta-analysis, a systematic search is necessary. After all, you want to find as many sources as possible. But also in other cases, a systematic approach to searching can bring merit. It helps you to think about what exactly you want to find and increases the chance of a good search result.
In addition to this module, the University Library also offers a module on historical sources. Do you have no experience with information literacy skills at all? Then start with the basic Compass module. The basic module is available in Dutch and English, the additional modules are currently only offered in English.
