Generative AI (GenAI) offers many opportunities for your studies. But how can you use GenAI effectively and responsibly? Three short and interactive e-learning courses can help you navigate generative AI.

E-learning Getting to know Generative AI

After this e-learning, you can:

• name the models that form the basis for GenAI;
• explain how these models work;
• name common misconceptions and pitfalls when using AI;  
• name and recognise the different forms of bias. 

E-learning Responsible use of GenAI

After this e-learning, you can:

• explain the importance of human involvement in GenAI;
• identify the important aspects of the European AI Act and the AI policy of Utrecht University;
• identify the potential risks of using GenAI;
• be transparent about your use of (Gen)AI and why it is important.  

E-learning Writing better prompts

After this e-learning, you can:

• write effective prompts to generate text, images, and code;
• apply the BRAVE(R) mnemonic to your prompts;
• prompt responsibly by evaluating the results of your prompt with RACCCA.
