34 hectares of ecologically managed verges and lawns, 21 students living labs on sustainability, an online module 'making your education more sustainable' for teachers and once again an increase in the number of solar panels, bringing the counter to 7,388. Zero waste by 2030
Utrecht University aims to achieve zero waste by 2030. In this context, the Green Office started the Precious Plastic project in 2021. Together with Hogeschool Utrecht, students researched and developed ways to upcycle plastic. Check out the Precious Plastic page
