Opening hours

On this page you will find the opening hours of the Special Collections department at University Library Utrecht Science Park. Here, the Reading Room, the Map Room and the Reference Library are situated.

Regular opening hours

  • Monday through Friday: 9.00 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: closed

Regular opening hours also apply during the examination period.

Please note: Friday 16 May closed

The day after Ascension Day, Friday 16 May, the department of Special Collections is closed.

On and around public holidays the department of Special Collections is closed:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Good Friday
  • Easter Sunday and Easter Monday
  • King’s Day
  • Liberation Day
  • Ascension Day
  • The day after Ascension Day
  • Whit Sunday and Whit Monday
  • Christmas Day and Boxing Day
  • Between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day
