Requesting access to Yoda
I want to start using Yoda
If you want to start using Yoda, you can get access to an existing group, or a new research group needs to be created for you. For this, you should contact the data manager of your institution.
When requesting a new research group to be created, please provide with the following information to your data manager:
- The names and email addresses of the collaborators who should get access to the folder. Also include which type of access is required for each collaborator (read, write, or group manager).
- The unique name for the research group (folder). All research groups in Yoda are named according to this convention research-{name}. For example: research-circomod, research-utrechtse-heuvelrug, research-esl, etcetera.
- An estimate of the storage size you are expecting to put on Yoda. This will also affect the costs of storage. Depending on your institute, costs for data storage will either be covered by your institute or passed on to you.
Once the research group has been created, internal collaborators can immediately log into Yoda with their institutional account and external collaborators receive an email to set a password for their Yoda account.
I want to access an existing group
To obtain access to an existing research group in Yoda, you should ask the group manager of the research group to give you read, write, or even group manager rights. This is described in the guide Collaborating in Yoda.
