Connecting to the Yoda Network Disk
- Start Cyberduck using the start menu.
- Go to the preferences screen (Edit -> Preferences). Ensure that ‘Use keychain’ in the Connection tab is unchecked.
- Close the preferences screen.
- Click on the “Bookmark” menu and then on the “New bookmark” item. Ensure that the protocol (dropdown menu at the top) is set to ‘WebDAV (https)’. Enter the network disk server name without the “https://” prefix in the server field. The network disk server name of your Yoda environment can be found on this page.
- Enter your username in the Username field. If you are an employee or student at Utrecht University, your username is your Utrecht University email address (in lowercase). The username of external users is the email address on which you received the invitation. You don’t need to enter your password yet.
- Close the bookmark screen and double click on the bookmarked connection to connect to the server.
- You will be asked for your password. Enter the Data Access Password you created. After entering it, you will be able to transfer files to and from Yoda.
If you work with Cyberduck on a shared computer, it is recommended that you close the application after transferring files, rather than just pressing the 'Disconnect' button.
