The examination of a biopsy or excision by a veterinary pathologist can help with diagnosing a disease or aid in providing a good treatment. This requires the material to be formalin-fixed. To fix tissues, use 4% buffered formaldehyde. Most solutions are around 40%. This means that you can dilute the solution by a 1 to 10 ratio.

When sending biopsies/excisions, it is important to fill in the anamneses document accurately and to pay attention to the questions for the pathologist to answer.

You can send a maximum of 4 biopsies of the same animal for examination for the same rate. For further information, please send an e-mail or call +0031 30 253 3195.
