Dr. Silvia Mihaila

Dr. Silvia Mihaila obtained her bachelor degree in chemistry and physics in Romania. She obtained her PhD at the University of Minho (Portugal) and continued her research as a Marie Curie postdoc fellow at Department of Urology of Radboud UMC before coming to UMC Utrecht to embark in a project related to bioartificial kidneys. Currently she is involved in the REMODEL project focusing on the development of research models in infection, cancer, and tissue regeneration.
