Dr. Rose Camille Vincent
Dr. Rose Camille Vincent is an Assistant Professor of Applied Economics at Utrecht University School of Economics. Her research lies at the intersection of public and development economics. She combines administrative tax data, geospatial information, historical archives, and field experiments to examine how public finance systems and state capacity shape development outcomes, especially in fragile and resource-constrained settings. At Utrecht University, she teaches courses in public economics and interdisciplinary research and supervises theses across these areas. Rose holds a PhD in Economics from Maastricht University (The Netherlands) and Université Clermont-Auvergne (CERDI-CNRS, France). She also holds an affiliate position with the Institute of Fiscal Studies (IFS) and the United Nations University (UNU-MERIT), and is an invited researcher of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL).
