Dr. Peter Pelzer
Peter Pelzer is an Assistant Professor in Spatial Planning and Urban Futures at the Department of Human Geography and Spatial Planning, Faculty of Geosciences, and affiliated with the Urban Futures Studio. He is interested in the ways in which the future is made tangible in the present and how a better understanding hereof could contribute to post-fossil futures. In both his research and teaching he deploys a transdisciplinary approach, such as a mixed classroom with policy makers and a design competition.
What would a city without fossil fuels look like?
Peter Pelzer has been a member of the Utrecht Young Academy, a bridge between young and talented researchers, since 2019.
