Dr. Dide van Eck
Dr. Dide van Eck is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Public Administration and Organization Science (Faculty of Law, Economics, Governance and Organization). As a work and organization studies scholar, she studies the relation between work and in/-equality. Her research focuses on (1) differentiating practices in the workplace in relation to gender, race/ethnicity, class, body size, and grief and (2) work practices that can enable more inclusive and climate-friendly organizations. She turns to participatory and arts-based research methodologies to better understand the embodied, affective, material and discursive elements of daily work practices.
Dide van Eck has been a member of the Utrecht Young Academy, a bridge between young and talented researchers, since 2026.
