Dr. Annemarie Kalis

Annemarie Kalis is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. She has backgrounds in both philosophy and psychology; she obtained her PhD in 2009 on the phenomenon of akrasia, also known as acting against one's better judgement. Her Veni research focuses on the question what attitudes (such as beliefs and judgement) exactly are and how they can be measured. She also researches moral development.
