Dr. Amir Raoof

Amir Raoof is an Assistant Professor of Hydrogeology and Geochemistry. He studied in Iran before moving to California and then to Utrecht, where he obtained his PhD. He combines his work at UU with a European research programme at the Deltares institute. His research is into the effects of substances on porous soils. Amir received a Veni grant in 2014 and more recently an STW Open-Mind 2016 award.
