AI Helpdesk
The AI Helpdesk, an initiative supported by the Utrecht Young Academy and hosted by Utrecht University, is dedicated to providing clear, reliable answers to the public’s questions about AI. Individuals are encouraged to submit their questions to the AI helpdesk, these questions will be addressed by experts in the field through clear, intelligible, and accessible responses. Through this effort, the project aims to demystify AI technology, fostering an environment of understanding and informed dialogue within the community. By bridging the gap between complex AI concepts and public curiosity, the AI Helpdesk empowers individuals with the knowledge to navigate the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence, promoting greater understanding and engagement with such technologies.
The AI Helpdesk is generously funded and supported by the Utrecht Young Academy. The team comprises young academics from a variety of disciplines, ranging from medical ethics to psychology, law, computer science, statistics, and the history of art, and draws on the expertise of other leaders in the field. The initiative is inspired by the KlimaatHelpdesk, another platform started and supported by the Utrecht Young Academy.
