Andrea Cavallaro

Andrea Cavallaro is a student of Theoretical physics at Trieste University. As an Erasmus+ trainee in Philosophy of Cosmology & Astronomy within the UPAC research group he studies the Unruh Effect and the phenomenon of particle production in accelerated frames more generally. In particular, his project analyses the Unruh effect in connection with various foundational and philosophical themes: idealisation, relational quantum theory, functionalism, and the conceptual dichotomy between spacetime and matter.
