Matteo Romano

Matteo's Master thesis project in physics focuses on the relationship between general relativity and spin-2 gravity. It analyses in which sense and under what assumptions these two theories could be considered to be equivalent—empirically, dynamically, qua action, theoretically—by comparing and contrasting four attempts to derive GR within the spin-2 framework (Padmanabhan, Barceló, Butcher, Deser).
